You've met Lucy's curmudgeon kitty, Mudge, and Lollipop, who hides in the toy chest. Now I'd like to introduce you to Marmalade (he would be the one on the right, obviously!) He's really Lucy's dad's cat and likes to spend his time napping in Dad's lap or, as you can tell, eating. Is he not the fattest cat on the planet? Marmalade gets his name not only from his color, which is a lot like orange marmalade, in case you've never seen any, but for his appetite. He would eat an entire jar of the stuff if given the chance, or anything else you have to offer, for that matter. Marmalade's real-life counterpart is Henry, my grand-cat, pictured here with his "sister", a miniature Dachshund named Piper. Henry is a lot more, shall we say, crafty than Marmalade, but he has his lovely moments, like this one. Aren't we all a combination of mischief and unselfish love? Don't we all stop our all-about-me activities once in a while just to keep somebody warm? I like that about us as human beings, don't you? It's totally a God-thing. I would love to hear about your two sides, or your cats, or anything else you want to talk about. I can't wait for you to meet Lucy and her kitties on the page. Meanwhile, don't forget about the contest!
