Hi, Mini-Women!
If you haven't read today's post, definitely go back and do that. There's a lot in there for you.
This is an extra one with a request for two stories I need for the new Girl Politics book. If you have had either of these experiences, will you tell me about them in an email?
nnrue@att.net
#1 Have you ever been in a situation when you didn't have any friends at ALL? What was the situation? How did it feel? What did you do? Did you ever find friends? (I hope so!)
#2. Have you ever had a friend you just loved SO much but the two of you were always fighting? What was it about? Why did you argue so much? Did you fix it? How?
As soon as you can email me, that would be GREAT! I'm already using your stories and quotes and I just KNOW other mini-women are going to learn tons from you.
Thanks and blessings,
Nancy Rue

Okay, I sent u an e-mail, but here's what my story is for u gals:
Once in my old private school when I was in first grade (before I got home schooled) I was BFFs with some girls-let's call them Rikki and Ella. We used to be BFFs, but one day they decided I was no good to them, so they started ignoring me. Soon, all the kids in my grade except for five girls in the third, fourth, or fifth grade acted as if I wasn't even there. I would go up to Rikki and Ella and ask if I could join:
"Hi! Can I play, too?"
"No, you can't."
"Why?"
"Because. And you'd probably not even get the game, either, so go away."
I'd just walk away, being too young to understand why they were being so rude. That continued on for about five months, before I realized that they didn't care for me. So I decided to try and earn friendship by performing my talents-flexibility, balance, etc. When nobody came towards me, I started yelling, "If you want, you can see me perform my talents near the entrance to the slide!
Nobody came to see it except for one girl-let's call her Robina. She was playing with three to five girls when she decided that she would see me perform.
"Hi, I'm Robina. Can you perform your talents for me?"
"Okay!" I then started doing "acrobatics" on a tiny little thing-because I was, too, just a tiny little thing.
"Great job! Thank you for doing that for me!" Robina thanked me, fake clapping so I'd feel accepted and happy for a while. "Well, I gotta go. See ya!"
With that she waved and started jogging towards the bench where the other girls had vanished to because they thought I was a weirdo.
That was about three months before school ended. That was also the last time someone was decent to me in school and was my age. Only the teachers and principle liked me at that school. It wasn't until three years later did I get a pair of real friends at school. And they're still my friends to this very day.
Y'know what's awesome? I just realized that God used what at that time was bad, to turn it into something good! I hug other people at my Church so they feel loved and accepted. In return, I get lots of friendships with adults and disabled and grandparents and great-grandparents. I'm getting what when I was six, with only grown-ups as friends at school, into tons of friendships with multiple ages.
As for the second one, yes, I do have a friend whom we love each other very much, but we can't seem to stop fighting. What I think I'm going to do about it is pray, believe, and trust that God has a better plan that will unfold sometime sooner or later. Yes, she's the one that I'm always complaining about in the comments! But since Valentines Day is coming up, I have a great solution-tell her how I feel in a card. There's only one thing that I probably won't do to get her back-drink coffee as my drink for a day. I hate coffee heinously.
Okay, I hope that helps!
LYGMSIC!

Yesterday, I tasted coffee, and I loved it! (decaf with two things of cream and sugar and hot chocolate!)
