Hello, Mini-Women! As you know -- and if you didn't you do now! - our Live BLog Party is THIS FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 8 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. U.S. Central Time.
It wouldn't be a Tween You and Me Blog Party without food, right? We always have a theme, and this time it's HEARTS. Whatever snack you choose to have while we're on here blogging and commenting and giggling and learning stuff about each other -- it needs to be shaped like a HEART or have a HEART on it someplace. That could be a heart-shaped cookie, a heart shape in whipped cream in your hot choclate, a sandwich or piece of pizza cut into a heart shape, some of those heart-shaped candies with ridiculous messages on them that people have around at this time of year (and that I personally think taste like sweet chalk). Anything goes.
One of the things we always do is ask our party participants to take a picture of their theme snack and email it to me (nnrue@att.net) so I can post them on the bajillion posts I write that night. You can also describe it to us when I ask for that during the party. This isn't a contest -- this one's just for fun. Can't wait to see what you come up with.
I think I will definitely want a chocolate heart in a latte . . . But, then, I always want a chocolate heart in a latte!

Welcome to the blog Goldie. I am really really sorry, but I won't be able to be at the blog party this Friday. :-( I am going to be DJing my little sister's birthday/ slumber party. I will try to post occasionally. I also have a MAJORLY HUGE PRAYER REQUEST. My cousin was in a bad car accident and is really scratched up. She also has been pushing God away lately and I miss her. :-(

Sorry for you guys that can't make it 2 the of party!!! And welcome Goldie!!!! My great uncles funeral is on the 8 but I still should be able to make it!!! I can't wait for the party!!!!! Prayer request for my other sister that I don't think that she wouldnt like me to share. And news: Saturday (last) one of the church's in our town had a princess retreat with a real coronation!!! There were 142 girls their!!!! Praying guys and thanks for praying!!!!!

And about what Nikita said, that Mrs. Rue quoted in the last post: when I read that I was jumping up and down and saying, "Yes, yes, yes! That is SO me!" (Okay, not really, but that was what I was thinking.) That's exactly what I feel like! It's, how come I'm so different from years past, why am I facing so many problems now, and why is it so hard to be me?
It is so hard to be a tween/teen. Not physically, but emotionally. I have no idea what to do, how to act, how to handle all these social problems I've never had to deal with before. It's a mixed bag. Lots of new responsibilities and privileges, but stress, too. Still, overall, I really like being my age, where I'm at. (Just waxin' a little philosophic there... :) )
Praying, everybody! And please pray for me, because it seems like every other minute I'm getting in trouble with my parents because of being sassy or something and it makes all of us pretty miserable.

Mary, I totally get you. Keep readin' and studyin' that Holy Bible and prayin' and writing down all that you hear from God. "Be still, and know that I am God."
I'm going to have heart-shaped chicken w/ a buttered piece of bread (heart shaped) with hot chocolate with strawberry slices. As for dessert, toasted coconut-covered marshmallows arranged in a heart around a scoop of vanilla ice cream, cause "everything's better with a scoop of vanilla ice cream"!

Sadly, I can't go to the blog party because there is a 9 hour difference between U.S.A. and here. By the time, the blog party starts it would be about 2:00 in the morning. Plus, I go to school on Saturday so I probably wouldn't be allowed to go on the blog party. :(
