Just a gentle reminder about our prayer requests. We definitely want to know if you're struggling with something so we can say, "God, you're on this thing with Susie, right?" Just remember that to protect people's privacy, it's best to just say, "Our family is having some financial problems," rather than go into a lot of detail. God knows what's going on -- all we need to do is breathe the name of the person who's hurting. The very best thing to do is stick with the topic in red and you're good to go.
If you really need help with a situation, you are always welcome to email me and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Deal?
While I was gone some new Mini-Women joined us! Welcome AVAH, QUINLEY AND MAYA. If you'll each click here to email and let me know that you've read the blog rules, that would be great. (The place to click on blog rules is on the right side of this blog). We hope you love it here!
I love, love, loved your responses to what J Is For. The world is already a better place because:
* ADIE is being kind and forgiving her three little brothers who drive her nuts. (Praying for you, Adie!)
* ASHER is being truthful to herself and considering everyone's feelings. (Can't ask for more than that from a person)
* KAYLEE is being truthful to OTHER people AND herself, forgiving others when they do wrong, and willing to give somebody else a chance at something she has enjoyed long enough (And there's a ton of joy in that, Kaylee)
* NIMI is understanding others' point of view and not just jumping to conclusions. She's also no longer bullying her little brother. (The little brothers are really benefiting from this post!)
I'm really proud of you, Mini-Women. You are now:
Think you can add yet another quality that will help you see just how close God is? Let's go for it:
If I'm going to see just how close God is to me, I need to be
This time you can list as many K-words as you want in your comments -- just remember it needs to be an adjective, not a noun. (So not Kitty but Kitty-like ... although OBVIOUSLY that's not what we're going for!)
Can't wait to see what creative things you come up with. You're awesome!
