Hellooooo, Mini-Women! Do you realize that we have only 4 more letters to go in our alphabet of qualities that let us know God's with us? This may be one of the best series we've ever done together -- everybody involved and sharing stuff. I'm going to be sad to see it end.
But we're not finished yet! SO many of you posted comments on V-Is-For-Victorious.
Some of you told us about victories you've had, over -- things that scare us so much they show up in our dreams ... hard subjects like math ... stuff that tempts us ... the people and issues that make us so mad we want to chew gum wrappers ... upcoming events that worry us, like EVE's surgery ... fear of talking about our Lord .... confusion about boys ... anger with parents. That's you and God working together. That's what it's all about.
Several mini-women admitted the things they WANT to have victory over.. They're things like:
* helping a friend understand and love God * having a pure heart (yeah, I"m always workin on that one!) * letting God have control (it's not like we can actually "let" God because God's already IN control, but we get what you mean, JOSIE) * fear of being bold about your faith * not taking care of our temples, um, bodies * letting mean kids bring out the worst in you
You came up with awesome verses from Scripture to use as banners in your quiet battles, and every one of them was just perfect for the situation. You are going to rock this world, Mini-Women, and it's already starting.
So let's keep going. Let's see where the letter W takes us. Fill in the blank, as always, with an adjective that starts with To really know that God is in me and with me and above me and below me and all those other prepositions, I need to be
See what you can come up with without using the dictionary this time, though you can post as many W-words as you can think of that fit.
This time let's do two things a tiny bit differently. If you want to, you can:
* Be creative with word images. For instance, if we were doing the opposite of what W stands for you might say, "wolf-like," or "whip-ish." You don't HAVE to do that, but if something comes to you, enjoy!
* Make a letter picture, like the ones above, or this one. Then take a photo of it, save it as a jpeg file and email it to me.
WOW, Mini-WOMEN, have a great WEEKEND, full of WONDERFUL discoveries about you and God and your WORLD. WE love you here and can't WAIT to see you again on Tuesday. WOO-HOO!
